Happy St Andrews Day

Good morning y'all today is our (Scotland) patron saints day. So it'll be tartan everywhere and haggis for tea. I'm not wearing tartan as you'll see from the video. However I will be attending a special lunch today, with a pensioners group, to celebrate so I do have a tartan sash to wear.

Well the snow is falling fast and furious again so there doesn't look like there will be any reprieve just yet. So the wellies will be coming to work with me again. Was singing the Billy Connolly ditty all day yesterday..."If it wizney for yer wellies where would you be? You'd be in the hospital or infirmary.."

White blanket

of snow everywhere today. So pretty while looking through the window but a real pest to try and navigate. I'm so glad I can walk to work. I'm actually wearing my wellies to do the walk and putting my boots in my bag for when I arrive.

Friday Seams

good morning y'all. Friday again eh? I've been so busy this week it's a relief to find it is Friday at last. Another weekend to relax and get refreshed.

I'm going into town with friend this afternoon .We are off shopping. I want some nice new lingerie and stockings for my Berlin trip. Once we have completed our shopping we intend to partake of afternoon tea. I love this old fashioned traditional way of satisfying ones hunger, finger sandwiches, cakes and scones yum, yum.

Good morning y'all

up bright and breezy this morning, so no panic buying an alarm clock just yet. Had a nice relaxing evening watching the football on T.V and was in bed at a decent hour. Maybe that's the trick.

Wow the sky is beautiful this morning all shades of grey and pink. I know that generally means inclement weather but I'll enjoy the beauty of the sky while I can.

Running late

This morning because I slept in. Which is very unusual for me as I'm generally a very early riser. I may have to start using an alarm clock. I'm almost an hour later rising this morning than normal so it has been a bit of a rush to get this done for y'all.

The skies are laden today and it is still very dark as a result. Dry at the moment but by the look and darkness of those clouds I think we are in for a very wet day. So I thought I would carry my own sunshine around with me.

Monday again

And it looks very cold out there this morning. So I'm dressing in warm winter tweeds this morning. I'm pretty much in the office all of today so that'll keep me from freezing.

Well y'all did you have a good weekend? All refreshed and ready to start anew? I'm not sure I am though I did have a good weekend and was pretty much relaxed and happy till that dreaded alarm went off. Oh well need to earn the pennies to keep me in fine hosiery.

Early Start

this morning so I can let the removal men into the office. I have a feeling it is going to be pandemonium today. Thank goodness I finish at 12.30.

Today I'm wearing my favourite purples. The stockings I'm wearing are supposed to be hold ups but I felt they were going to be a problem so slipped a suspender belt on. Bought them from Hong Kong and they are supposed to be one size but they are very small. I can't imagine them fitting anyone much taller or heavier than me.

I have on purple bra and panties set, black six strap suspender with purple ribbons, purple stockings with deep lace welts, purple high heeled Maryjanes and a purple patterned dress.

Busy,busy

today, we are swapping offices with our finance team and have to get all our files downsized. So I'll be doing grunt work today. Well my own files are already cleared out but some of the others are struggling so it's all hands on deck today. Still I'll get to nosey through other peoples systems so there are always compensations if you look for them.

Good Morning

Half way through the working week and already my thoughts are turning towards the weekend. I don't know about y'all but I seem to be wishing my life away these days. Wish it was the weekend, wish it was my holiday week, wish it was Christmas. I suppose that also means I have things to look forward to so that's not so bad.

Today I'm in a training session on our new computer system. That means a nice easy day for me really so I'm not complaining. I'm pretty much up to date with my admin anyway so as soon as the course is finished I can go home instead of rushing back to my desk.

I'm wearing a brown & mint dress, brown lacy cardigan, green and lilac matching cami knickers and bra, white six strap suspender belt with pink lace panel, natural tan stockings in 10d from BHS and knee high brown stiletto heeled suede boots.

Hoops & Boots

Good Morning y'all

Are you well rested from the weekend? I am. I appreciated not doing any painting this weekend. I had a very refreshing weekend and did little in the way of housework. A little rest before starting on my kitchen. Though thankfully there won't be any major changes just a fresh coat of paint on the woodwork and ceiling. I've already made the curtains and blind so it should be an easy one. A womans work eh? :)

To be seams day eh and why not? More women should wear them. Of course I'm being selfish because if they became popular they would be easier to get and much cheaper. In the meantime I'll continue to try to set the trend.

Stormy Weather

Makes me glad I'm stuck in the office today, paperwork never looked so appealing before :) It's dried up enough for my walk to work but I doubt it'll stay dry. That's the one thing you can depend on with Scottish weather plenty of rain. Oh well I suppose that's why our country is so verdant and beautiful so no room for complaints.

Boots Again?

Yes! I do hope y'all aren't bored with boots yet. I love boots personally and have quite a few pairs, which will no doubt all be showcased a some point through these dark winter days.

Off to Edinburgh this evening so I'm finishing early today .I have a little flexi-time to use so thought I would get an early start to my journey. I'll probably have a nice pub meal somewhere rather than a restaurant, well I'm on a budget need to gather a few sheckles together for my trip to Berlin next month for my Christmas shopping.

Can you believe

that those daft Whitehall chaps were considering not putting the clocks back? that's ok for those living south of the Watford gap but for us in the far frozen north it would mean never seeing daylight.Bad enough as it is.

Did y'all get involved with Guy Fawkes night? That man had the right idea eh? Ooops best be careful or I'll have MI5 breaking down my door and carting me off. :) I do enjoy a good fireworks display. I must admit I miss being a youngster and spending weeks gathering combustibles for our bonfire, another down side to growing up eh? Oh well wearing beautiful nylons goes towards compensating me somewhat. :)

Hooray for Friday

Well here we are at the weekend once again. Do y'all have lovely plans for relaxing this weekend? I have a busy one ahead. Tonight I'm invited out to tea at a friends house, tomorrow afternoon the football then Saturday night and most of Sunday will be spent re decorating my bathroom now the new tiles are in situ. Just a matter of painting the ceiling and woodwork and laying the flooring. I'm rather handy with a paintbrush but I've never laid flooring before so this will be a challenge for me. Today, as I'm an early finish I'll be heading up to B&Q to fetch the necessaries.

Pink Skies

Are so pretty in the morning but a forewarning according to old wives tales. So I'll pack my raincoat and umbrella just in case. I have to take my car along to get my tyres checked and purchase new ones where needed. Need to be ready for the poor road conditions that are looming. So I'll do that before heading down to work.

No not me I'm only like that at the weekend :) There seems to be a lot of flooding in the area so no doubt I'm going to be very busy today. Officially Winter

Yet the sun is streaming in the bedroom. Not that I'm fooled by that I just know it is going to be very cold. Still it is a beautiful morning, and the sky looks wonderful with the watery sunshine making everything look golden and bright.
