Thursday Already

I love holiday weekends the rest of the week just flies by. Today is all fun and games in work. Our CEO retires today so we have all sorts of send off's planned for her starting with coffee and cakes in the board room at 10 a.m, presentation at 3 p.m and ending with a meal out this evening. She will be sorely missed.

Morning Blog Fans

Yeuk! What a horrible day it is today, Dark and rainy or 'dreich' as we say in Scotland which I think describes the weather today perfectly. I'm pretty much stuck in the office all of today anyway so I'll just daydream about the nice weather we had in Spain.


I'm back in my favourite purples today though I have added a pair of beautiful hold ups I bought whilst away. I bought a pair similiar to these the last time I was in Spain from the same market stall. The lady that runs the stall says she doesn't sell many pairs of hold ups or stockings so doesn't carry a large stock. I bought the only pair of these.


Anyway today I'm wearing purple bra & panties set in purple, purple velvet skirt, purple cardigan, purple high heeled Maryjanes and these rather super purple hold ups.

Back to work

Booo!!! Oh well no other choice if I'm to keep the wolf from the door. I had a lovely break so it's no use moaning about work.

Last day

Before the holiday weekend. We (Scotland) don't get the English August bank holiday we get this "the September weekend" So I'm off till Tuesday. Whoo hoo. 4 whole days to relax. My youngest son and I are flying out tonight to spend some time with my daughter in Spain. She teaches primary kids in a posh school. So no rain for me for a couple of days :) I'm getting to meet her school children tomorrow as I have been invited in to read to them. Even if I say so myelf I'm a great story teller so I am looking forward to that. Though I will have to remember to speak in my posh voice otherwise they won't understand my accent. :)

Rainy Days and Seams

The weather is very nasty today so I decided on seams to cheer myself up. I always feel so good in seams nothing can dampen that feeling, not even a downpour.

Today is the aftermath of my works AGM, so I just know there will be all sorts of mails and memos flying around with the recurring theme of " We're skint!" There will also be a series of meetings to decide how we will continue to operate under all the new constraints that seem to emerge from AGM's. Then when everyone calms down it will be business as usual. Hee hee life in a non profit organisation eh?

So anyway enough of work on with the show :) Today I'm wearing a new leopard print bra and panties set, six strap black suspender belt, tan stockings with contrasting black seams, a black wool dress (I call it my big jumper) and leopard print high heel court shoes.

Good morning blog fans

another nice morning though the clouds are gathering in. It's also getting pretty chilly in the mornings. Think it is about time to get the central heating back on for the coming winter.

Today I'm stuck in doing administration. This is the part of the job I detest. Banging away at a computer all day long. I could never be a secretary or do any other administrative post. I admire people who can stay focussed in such a job. my head goes all over the place and I'm only spending a couple of hours at it.

I'm wearing hold ups again, chocolate brown in 10 denier, brown sheer panties, brown bra, cream vest, brown and cream dress and brown and cream high heel court shoes.

Friday Hooray

Morning bloggers what a lovely morning it is. Nice blue skies and the sun is out. It would be nice if the weekend was like this but I'll not be pinning my hopes on it.

I'm off this afternoon as usual so I am heading up to Oran Mor for a 'pie, a pint and a play'. All squeezed into an hour. I love this idea of a quick pie and pint and some theatre.

Thursday stockings

Good Morning blogger, seems like a much nicer morning. Not so wild and windy as it was yesterday I'm glad to say because I'm out and about today.

G'morning Y'all

Very wet and windy up here in Scotland. I'll not even be able to use an umbrella it is so windy. So a hat and raincoat will be the order of the day. Actually I'll change into my boots and take my peeptoes with me in my bag. I'll not be out of the office today and it will suit me to have on comfy shoes in work.

Evening all

Thought I would Put a few pics up of me last night after the concert in the kelvingrove art gallery.We went to see the RSNO perform there. What a wonderful evening and a breathtaking venue. Afterwards my date and I took a little stroll along the banks of the river clyde to enjoy what was a beautiful evening. We took the oportunity to get a few picturs done.

I'm a real culture vulture today as I'm off out again to the theatre tonight for an opera this time. Carmen at the citizens theatre. Haven't been to the theatre in months and here I am with two visits in one day.

The sun is out

Lets hope it stays like that. It's getting a little cooler here and that means I can enjoy the sunshine. I don't do too well in the heat I wilt like an unwatered flower if it is too hot.

Friday at last

Feels like it has been a long week. However I think that is because I got so much achieved in work and at home. That is my sitting room finished and the new sofa arrives on Saturday morning.
