Isn't it a beautiful morning? The sun is shining and even though it is still cold it looks a lot like spring. So I'm wearing clothes today to reflect that feeling.

I got the Q & A completed at last and put it up for y'all last night I hope you enjoy.

I'm in a great mood as my house has a definite offer in for it slightly above the asking price. The prospective buyer will need entry for the 28th of April though. So I better start looking seriously for a property for myself.

Friday at last

Seems as if it has been a long week but here we are Friday again

and the weekend is upon us.

I have a busy morning ahead and then I'm off in town this afternoon to do a little shopping for my youngest son. He needs new gym shoes and a new school jersey. Might pick up a few pairs of nylons while in town.

I'm only half way through the Q & A so I'l do some more work on it this afternoon and get it up before going out this evening. Thank you to all who sent in questions.

Morning Y'all

I'm loving that it is getting lighter in the mornings, the brighter mornings cheer everyone up. Yesterday on the way to work 2 people actually smiled at me as they said good morning. Spring is in the air.

My Dad is in the hospital, nothing serious just some stabilising work. So my sister and I are sneaking into his house this evening to do what we call 'A ninja clean'. We do this whenever he is away for the weekend. We sometimes pack him off to my Sister in Norwich to let us do proper Spring cleans or to redecorate. What is it about elderly gentlemen that have them so abhorrent to having their homes cleaned properly? Anyway this mornings pretension towards spring reminded me of a silly wee ditty my Dad used to say to us girls when we were little.

Good Morning

My lucky son is off on a school trip today to 'Dynamic Earth' in Edinburgh. I had a look on the website and wish now I was going with him instead of into work. I don't miss school, I hated it and it hated me however I miss school trips. We should get 2 or 3 trips a year as employees. We could go places that could be written off as business fact finding missions. Oops I sound like a politician arranging to visit las Vegas with a view to twinning it with my constituency.

Monday

and no long lie for me even though I'm off work. Not that I'm much of a one for lying in bed. Well not alone anyway :) I'm very much a morning person. Apparently being a night owl or a lark is determined by what time of the day you are born. I was born at 8.16 a.m so that bears out eh?

I had a pretty good weekend and there seemed to be some interest in my place. Though how serious they are remains to be seen. I'm sure half of them were just coming for a wee nosey. Oh and my team did me proud so all in all a very good weekend.

Friday at last

I have a busy old day ahead of me. Starting with a visit to my solicitor and ending with a parents teacher meeting in the late afternoon. Still I'll have time for lunch I'm meeting a friend to do just that. There wont even be a glass of wine with it as I'm not wanting my sons teachers to think I'm a lush :)

Early Finish

For me today. I'm only working till lunch time then I'm off till Tuesday. Encouragingly I have a lot of viewers booked in over this weekend so this afternoon will be about presenting my home in the best possible light and the rest of the weekend showing strangers around. Well not Sunday afternoon of course as I'll be out at the football.

Don't worry though I'll still be up early tomorrow to put my youngest out to school then I have a 9.30 appointment with my solicitor. So that means I'll still be doing a blog entry, and still be wearing seams.

Good Morning Stockings Lovers

Well as the title suggests I am wearing stockings today. I know most of y'all prefer them. To be honest I prefer them but am real happy that hold ups are around to rest my thighs when the metal clips do their damage. It's the little metal clips that adjust the straps that give me most trouble. So if any of you stumble across a suspender belt with rubber or plastic sliders do let me know.

Good Morning

Well I got it well and truly wrong yesterday and by the time I got out the office the heavens had opened. Tsk! not that the weather will matter today as I'll be in meetings most of the day. So the sun can shine :)

I'm meeting some friends after work to have a bite to eat and catch up with some gossip. 1 of whom I haven't seen since before Christmas so there will be plenty to catch up with. A meal and a few glasses of wine, not a late one as it is a school night after all and I need my beauty sleep. Can't burn the candle at both ends any more.

It's a lovely morning and I hope it stays dry today as this is one of my out and about days. There is a definite feeling that spring is just around the corner today. There is something to be said for being out on a fresh morning like this. I enjoy walking and when the weather is like this it seems like pleasure trip and not work.

Friday already

wow where did the week go? I suppose that being so busy helps the week fly past. Between work and home I don't seem to have had much leisure time this week. No wonder they say selling your house is at the top of the 'most stressful things in life' list. It's not just the surface that needs to be clean and well presented I have had to clear out all the storage space to present in it's best possible light. I suppose the big clear out will make packing easier.

Well y'all in keeping with the theme I'm wearing seams for Friday. These are vintage seams circa 1969. Nude in 7d from M&S. Red bra, red sheer panties, red suspender belt, red satin blouse, black pencil skirt and red high heeled Maryjane's with double strap.

A couple of people have mentioned that it has been hold ups all week. The reason for that is I'm allergic to base metal and sometimes the straps on a suspender belt makes my skin break out in dry patches. I had to 'rest' my poor thighs this week by wearing hold ups.

Lighter mornings

It seems to be getting lighter already in the mornings doesn't it? Makes one think spring is just around the corner. Though I'll hopefully be out of this house before the flowers appear. I have a host of appointments to show my house this weekend. So I'll need to get the finger out this evening and clean it so I can present it in it's best possible light.

I'm out and about today and the weather looks promising. So I'll enjoy the walking. Still dressed warmly this morning though.

Good morning

y'all. Another day at the grindstone. is it just me or is it a general feeling that it's time to start thinking about holidays? Not that I'll be having a proper holiday as I need to use my time for moving house. Still maybe a nice long weekend away somewhere might be what the doctor orders.

Anyway no point day dreaming when there is today to get through and plenty to keep me busy. I'm office bound today so it can rain to biblical proportions and it'll not affect me one bit. :)

Dare I say the rain has stopped and it looks like it is going to stay off, which is good as I'm out and about again today. I love getting out of the office. Even though I'm working it feels like a big skive. Some of my colleagues hate going out and prefer to be banging away at that computer. Not me I love getting out and meeting people.

Good Morning, Isn't Monday just one of those days that no-one really looks forward to? Especially when one is having a good weekend. I spent most of the weekend with family and that always pleases me no end. I have 17 niece and nephews and there always seems to be a birthday party on the go where we can all get together and have a laugh.

Today I'm out and about and wouldn't you just know that the heavens would empty today. I do have a lovely new raincoat so 'silver linings' and all that jazz.

and yes you've guessed it, seams. it makes choosing an outfit easier knowing what stockings I'm going to be wearing believe it or not. Not that I generally build an outfit around stockings but with seams there are some outfits that just look better with them.

As y'all know by now I only work a half day on a Friday. So this afternoon I'm off to the Oran Mor to indulge in 'A pie, a play and a pint'. It's such a good idea and I love these little snapshots of live theatre. It can be a bit of a hit and a miss but so far we've enjoyed more good than bad (och bad is too strong, mediocre is more the word). Anyway I'm looking forward to that.

Well I'm not going to moan about the weather this morning. Not after watching the news reports on the problems facing parts of Australia. We are very lucky with our weather in Scotland really. There is something to be said for living in a temperate zone. I'm keeping the poor folks in Queensland in my thoughts.

Rainy Days

Are back and wouldn't you just know it, I'm out and about today. Not that I mind the rain too much and I do have a pair of leather boots under my desk and a long raincoat on the office stand so I have little to complain about.

February already, wow we'll be saving for Christmas again soon. I never used to quite understood my Granny when she said the older you get the quicker the years go. My goodness I sure understand her well enough now. Whoosh another month gone!
