Hey it's been a quick week eh? I suppose because I have been so busy it appears to have flown in. I'm off to get my hair done this afternoon. Its badly needing cut. I'm off out tonight to a 60th birthday party so I'm glad I made the appointment for today.

Morning Y'all

Well only a few more sleeps till the big day, which for me is actually Friday when I go collect my daughter from the airport. I'm so looking forward to spending some quality family time with her and my two boys.

Today as you know is my pensioners Christmas party so I'm dressed in a party outfit. I'm wearing black body suit, black suspender belt, navy seams, black full slip, aubergine dress and purple shoes.

That Friday Feeling

Doesn't the thought that it's the last working day add a little smile to your face? It always cheers me no end knowing I have the whole weekend looming in front of me, especially when I know it is going to be full of fun and frolics.

I have a pretty easy day ahead of me. Well I do plan my week carefully so that I can skive on a Friday. A few flourishes to add to a committee report and that is that. Writing reports for them is an exercise in creative writing. Not that I tell lies but it has to be written with as little use of jargon as possible and it has to catch their interest. Not easy but challenging in an enjoyable way.

That Friday Feeling

thank goodness it is the weekend, it has been one of those long weeks and I'll be glad to kick back and enjoy my weekend. I'm also glad I only work a half day on Fridays. I've worked my week so I have only one client to see and the rest of the morning I can skive under the guise of catching up with admin work.

Friday Seams

I'm so glad it's Friday, seemed like a long busy week. Got loads done in work right enough and am bang up to date with my paper work. Even though I finish half day on a Friday I'm glad I have very little to do this morning. Let's just hope no wee emergency crops up which makes me have to actually work.

Friday Seams

What a glorious morning, Sun shining and the world all clean and fresh looking. A nice change for a Friday. Surely spring is here proper now. Could do with dropping all the winter wear and getting into some lighter clothing.

I have a real busy day ahead of me, we have a new CEO starting and she is coming in today to meet with us all before her first real day on Monday. Her resumé promises us a real go getter so I'm looking forward to working with her. Will also be a nice change to have a woman at the helm.

Friday at last

Seems as if it has been a long week but here we are Friday again

and the weekend is upon us.

I have a busy morning ahead and then I'm off in town this afternoon to do a little shopping for my youngest son. He needs new gym shoes and a new school jersey. Might pick up a few pairs of nylons while in town.

I'm only half way through the Q & A so I'l do some more work on it this afternoon and get it up before going out this evening. Thank you to all who sent in questions.

and yes you've guessed it, seams. it makes choosing an outfit easier knowing what stockings I'm going to be wearing believe it or not. Not that I generally build an outfit around stockings but with seams there are some outfits that just look better with them.

As y'all know by now I only work a half day on a Friday. So this afternoon I'm off to the Oran Mor to indulge in 'A pie, a play and a pint'. It's such a good idea and I love these little snapshots of live theatre. It can be a bit of a hit and a miss but so far we've enjoyed more good than bad (och bad is too strong, mediocre is more the word). Anyway I'm looking forward to that.
