Horrible cold wet morning eh? I'm glad all my appointments are office based today. I really couldn't be doing with another day trailing around in inclement weather. I have a lot to be getting on with not least of all paper work I'm needing to catch up with. I also have to look through the papers for my training session tomorrow. Ach well such is the life of a working stiff.

Today I had to bring my laptop into work with me as Dailymotion was messing me around with the uploads. I'm glad I'm working in the interview room today otherwise I wouldn't have the privacy to do this.

Anyway I'm wearing black panties and bra, black suspender belt, nude stockings from Pretty Polly in 10d, black skirt, black & white stripped jumper and black high heeled pumps.

Doesn't the weekend just fly by? Still I did have a nice weekend. Reasonably well rested for the week ahead which, if my diary is anything to go by, is going to be a very busy one. Still to be honest when one is busy the week flies by.

Today I'm out and about so I'm hoping the rain stays off. Though the forecast isn't too promising. I'll go prepared with mac & brolly.

Saturday Night

I went out for a lovely Japanese meal. I love Japanese food. I admit to over eating and over drinking but hey ho it wasn't a school night so why not.

Well I have to say I'm very pleased at not being selected for jury duty. The case was a horrible one and was expected to run for about 5-6 weeks. What a beautiful building the high court is. They have renovated it and it looks like the grand lady it should be again. Even the internals have been done to a standard that doesn't spoil the details that make these old buildings so special.....Can you tell there was a lot of sitting around doing nothing but inspecting the windows and ceilings? :)

Denims Day

I must have had these denims for nigh on 1o years. I rarely wear them but it is very satisfying that they still fit me. so my body shape hasn't changed much in that time. A little bit of middle age spread across the middle but that's just a soft place to lay your head while I recover :)

As you know the office is closed today and we are attacking all those dead files so I'll be up and down to the archives all day and as it's so dusty down there denims are the best option.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year to Y'all. I do hope you had a wonderful festive holiday. I certainly enjoyed Christmas and The Ne'erday.

I dropped my daughter off at the airport today. I shall miss her but I really loved having her home and I'm going out to see her in February so it won't be too long till I see her again.

I've not had much time or privacy to do any videos really. However I did manage to film myself before my guests arrived on New Years Day for dinner and drinks. So as I had a little free time tonight I thought I would put it together and post if for y'all to enjoy.

Whoohoo today my daughter comes home and I'm so excited. I haven't seen her in a couple of months. Ach we skype constantly but it's not the same. Morning Y'all

It was hard work getting up and organised this morning when my two boys are lying in bed. that's them stopped for the festive season and poor me is at work today and tomorrow. I did get to sleep half an hour later though because I didn't need to rally the troops this morning.

Yesterday went very well, we had some wee ones from the local nursery come in and sing carols whilst the pensioners were 'chowing down' they were so cute. We also had some talented teenagers playing piano and violin and we got an old time dancing set. The pensioners seemed to have a jolly time so my job there was done :)

Dark As The Earl Of Hells Waistcoat

An old Scottish expression which beautifully describes my rise this morning. The high wind caused all the power to go out on my street.Thank goodness for our love of scented candles these days. Pretty challenging getting myself and my son up and about our daily business in the dark. No Shower! At least I had access to a shower in work. Unlike my 14yo son. Yikes. I missed my coffee and toast the most.

So to make up to you the fact I couldn't film myself dressing this morning I made one of me undressing. Perhaps not as polished as I could considering I have more time at night, however I'm a little past my sell by date at this time of night. I hope you enjoy it anyway.

Morning Y'all

Seems like a much calmer day and I'm glad about that as I have so many home visits to do I'll be out most of the day. We have a young 'Scottish Apprentice' just started and this week she is assigned to me. Can you believe she offered to do my admin because "That's what I'm good at" wow. She is too, I'm not giving her back without a fight. I'm taking her out with me today and bless her little bobby socks she is all excited about that. Remember that enthusiasm? No me either I think I was born cynical :)

Back To The Grindstone

Was hard work getting up this morning, too used to the good life. It never fails to amaze me how quickly one becomes accustomed to being a lady of leisure. Much more quickly than one becomes accustomed to being a working stiff.

Oh well no point moaning about it. I know I'm lucky to have employment. I'm not sure what I'm going back to. Haven't even so much as looked at an email while I was off. I know today is safe as I blanked off my diary so I would have at least today before having to think about appointments.

That Friday Feeling

Doesn't the thought that it's the last working day add a little smile to your face? It always cheers me no end knowing I have the whole weekend looming in front of me, especially when I know it is going to be full of fun and frolics.

I have a pretty easy day ahead of me. Well I do plan my week carefully so that I can skive on a Friday. A few flourishes to add to a committee report and that is that. Writing reports for them is an exercise in creative writing. Not that I tell lies but it has to be written with as little use of jargon as possible and it has to catch their interest. Not easy but challenging in an enjoyable way.

Hey 'all

Feeling very tired and very hungry this morning, my own fault for going out for a drink with some colleagues on a school night. Was just supposed to be a glass of wine and it turned into a bottle. Will I ever learn? Probably not.

Monday, Monday

So good to me....Woke up singing that old Mamas and Papas song, won't be able to shake to off either, ah well it's better than waking up feeling grumpy.

I had a really good weekend and feel ready to take on whatever challenges work throws at me. I know I'm going to be really busy for the next couple of weeks as we have 1 down in our team. My counterpart has stopped for maternity leave and the girl we employed to replace her decided not to take the temporary position as she was offered a permanent post. So it's back to advertising and interviewing. In the meantime it'll be me that is taking up the slack.
