Whoohoo today my daughter comes home and I'm so excited. I haven't seen her in a couple of months. Ach we skype constantly but it's not the same. It's going to be a long morning in work waiting for clocking off time. She arrives just after two at Glasgow Airport. Which is just a hop, skip and a jump from my home.

Morning Y'all

It was hard work getting up and organised this morning when my two boys are lying in bed. that's them stopped for the festive season and poor me is at work today and tomorrow. I did get to sleep half an hour later though because I didn't need to rally the troops this morning.

Yesterday went very well, we had some wee ones from the local nursery come in and sing carols whilst the pensioners were 'chowing down' they were so cute. We also had some talented teenagers playing piano and violin and we got an old time dancing set. The pensioners seemed to have a jolly time so my job there was done :)

Morning Y'all

Well only a few more sleeps till the big day, which for me is actually Friday when I go collect my daughter from the airport. I'm so looking forward to spending some quality family time with her and my two boys.

Today as you know is my pensioners Christmas party so I'm dressed in a party outfit. I'm wearing black body suit, black suspender belt, navy seams, black full slip, aubergine dress and purple shoes.

Good Morning

Another cold dry day. I kinda like it when it is like this.I don't mind the cold if it doesn't come with icy rain. Which is just a well considering the climate we enjoy here in sunny Scotland :).

We are having a pensioners Christmas dinner tomorrow so today I'll be running back and forth with the 'needfuls'. I have the apprentice working with me today and tomorrow. She is all excited about doing party stuff instead of "real work" Hah! she has obviously never had to serve 35 pensioners dinner and listen to them moan about their likes and dislikes. They also have you running back & forth to top up drinks, fetch more bread and generally be treated like a slave. Then of course we have to dance with them. she doesn't realise it but she will be exhausted by the end of the day

Och that sounds moany but I do enjoy doing this kind of thing. It should be a good day, especially as I have spent so long extorting goodies from local businesses.

A little change to the routine today. I'm off out to a friends tonight ad as I'll be staying over I won't be able to film myself getting dressed. I know how y'all love 'seams Friday' so rather than disappoint I thought I would do the seam today instead.

Dark As The Earl Of Hells Waistcoat

An old Scottish expression which beautifully describes my rise this morning. The high wind caused all the power to go out on my street.Thank goodness for our love of scented candles these days. Pretty challenging getting myself and my son up and about our daily business in the dark. No Shower! At least I had access to a shower in work. Unlike my 14yo son. Yikes. I missed my coffee and toast the most.

So to make up to you the fact I couldn't film myself dressing this morning I made one of me undressing. Perhaps not as polished as I could considering I have more time at night, however I'm a little past my sell by date at this time of night. I hope you enjoy it anyway.
