Remember I told y'all about the auditors being in? Well thy gave my team a glowing report and get this a recommendation to continue with the funding and increase budget where possible. That Friday Feeling

Doesn't the thought that it's the last working day add a little smile to your face? It always cheers me no end knowing I have the whole weekend looming in front of me, especially when I know it is going to be full of fun and frolics.

I have a pretty easy day ahead of me. Well I do plan my week carefully so that I can skive on a Friday. A few flourishes to add to a committee report and that is that. Writing reports for them is an exercise in creative writing. Not that I tell lies but it has to be written with as little use of jargon as possible and it has to catch their interest. Not easy but challenging in an enjoyable way.

Good Morning

Boo! What a miserable wet day it is. Just typical when it's a day I'm going to be out and about. Oh well raincoat and brolly time. Still I suppose we can't really complain because this time last year we were ankle deep in snow and if it's raining it wont snow. Silver linings and all that.

My friends dog died last night and I was on phone with her till all hours of the morning so I'm feeling a little tired and grumpy this morning. Perfect conditions for putting the hard word on non paying clients. Might as well use my mood to advantage eh? Get my targets met before my next performance review :)

Hey 'all

Feeling very tired and very hungry this morning, my own fault for going out for a drink with some colleagues on a school night. Was just supposed to be a glass of wine and it turned into a bottle. Will I ever learn? Probably not.

Well today will be all about collating all the information we garnered yesterday, which basically means hanging around blethering about the event. Which is fine by me as it means I get to dander around all the different sections.

Good Morning

Today is our customer engagement event and we're all taking turns at swanning around the hall chatting to customers and getting feedback on how we are performing and how we can improve. I love doing things like that so I'm doing 2 slots. Will be a late finish for me though but at least I'll get the time back and coming on Christmas it is always useful to bank some toil time to take at a later date.
