Misty Mornings

Looks very cold outside this morning. We've been little spoiled this week with the milder weather but we knew that wasn't going to last. Though I'd expected torrential rain as opposed to a cold, misty morning. It'll give me a chance to wear my nice new brown tweed coat.

Today I'm out and about in the morning then bogged down in meetings all afternoon. I'm finishing early as I have a standard health check procedure booked for 4pm. Women have come a long way since my mother died of breast cancer in the late 60's in monitoring our health. I'm on a programme which means 3 yearly mammograms because of my family history.

Still enough of the serious chat and on with the point of this blog. Today I'm wearing peach chiffon bra and French knickers set from La Senza, Brown RHT vintage style stockings in 15d, black six strap suspender belt, brown and turquoise patterned dress and brown suede court shoes.

    Yes Mandi, I very much do like your new undies! Wow. That colour suits you fantastically well and it goes well with the black suspender belt. The brown stockings are classy as anything. The shoes n the dress are just so very much you, so very very sexy.

    Soapbox time. I wish mens' health had come on as far as womens' over the decades since your unfortunate loss. Prostate cancer is something that is not monitored nearly as closely as breast cancer although hopefully it will get there sooner rather than later.

    I'm having a cooling system fitted next to my computer as the neighbours are complaining about the heat!!

    Hello Machman, thank your the lovely comment. you're right men's health does need to be pushed. more. The thing is though 'they' didn't give women any concessions we had to fight and campaign long and hard to get these simple health checks to be part and parcel of our health care.
