What a change in the weather here in Gasgow. absolutely chucking it down. I suppose the gardens will be glad to see a little rain even if we aren't. I'm not out much today anyway except for a meeting with a pensioners group I'm working with. We are arranging a trip through to the parliment in Edingburgh (or Lieth to be more exact). That should be fun eh? hee hee. I would have preferred a trip to the seaside but heyho not my call.
Today I'm wearing a pretty grey basque and panties set, pewter coloured sheer stockings from John Lewis in 10d, grey wiggle dress and black high heeled brogues. I've added a grey fluffy cardigan to my ensemble as it is a little chilly this morning too.

Obviously I extend a warm welcome to every person from every corner of the globe who come to watch me get dressed! But China? I thought things like this would be banned there. Am I leading the charge in breaking down the barriers? By getting dressed in front of the World? I hope so! :)

Hello Francesco, What lovely things you say. Thank you so much. The weather here is very bad. So it means I wont get any outdoor shots done. However I did take some in this basque a few weeks ago when the evenings were drier. I'll get them up at lunch time when I go home to eat.

ReplyDeleteI have always had a soft spot for stockings of that colour - a similar shade known as 'gun-metal' was very popular when I was a randy 5th-former - back in the early 60s, when four of my members were supple and the fifth often embarrassingly stiff; today, to my eternal chagrin, the situation has changed completely!

ReplyDeleteHey Snake, how kind of you to say so. the stockings are very soft to the touch and very delicate. I only got one wear from them. However they feel so lovely and smooth they are a pleasure to wear even if they have no staying power.
ReplyDeleteHi older man, Thank you for your comment. Yes the clips are very small and fiddly on this basque. It is very pretty so I persevere. I must admit though I wish they would do basques with the more robust clips that are on my six and eight strap suspender belts.
